Get to know me
If I’m getting to know you, it’s understandable that you may want to know a bit about me! I’m a White, cisgender woman in my 30’s who grew up in the Midwest. You may hear my regional accent come out in sessions from time-to-time. I’m naturally an introvert who has always been a better listener than speaker, but I’ve always had an encouraging advocacy bone. I have a persevering interest to know what is real and true in the world and hope to inspire folks to connect to their own truth. This understanding has always held a special place in my life and I’m often curious why people think, feel, believe, and do the things they do. This led me to my undergrad studies in psychology where I developed a deep interest in pursuing higher education that would allow me to connect with others in this way. I completed my masters in clinical mental health counseling at St. Edward’s University. Since this time, I’ve had the privilege to connect with talented professionals and beautiful humans who are seeking safe spaces to explore their own growth and understanding. I try my best to practice appreciation for the highs and lows of life as I too am navigating my own mental health and wellness. My goal has always been to create the safe spaces I would like to see more of in the world; those with non-judgment, curiosity, connection, and empathy. When I am not practicing, you might find me enjoying rest days, spending time with my husband and senior cat, sipping iced coffee, and delving into interests like needlework, listening to Spotify, thrifting/antiquing, and probably thinking too much about life.
